Dymaxion Map

Flash implementation of Buckminster Fullers concept

Featured at the Buckminster Fuller Institute (www.bfi.org)

The map works with an icosahedron projection. One can freely shuffle aroun the pieces of our planet, defining an ever changing cente. It works very accurately to measure distances, does not distort at the poles, and it does not center around Europe.
